Creighton receives his first three verbal commitments today

Eastern Michigan University football head coach Chris Creighton received his first three commitments for the 2014 season today, including two offensive linemen in-state— Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice High School’s Jeremy Hickey and Dewitt High School’s Christopher Bukoski.

Hickey also received offers from Butler University, Indiana State University, Robert Morris University and Southern Illinois University.

Bukoski was not ranked by any scouting service and it appears his only offer came from EMU.

The other verbal commitment was D’Marcus Moon according to 247sports.com.

Moon is a 2-star inside linebacker and a top-40 recruit out of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Other Verbal Commitments:

Jason Beck (CB): Arsenal Technical High School (Indianapolis, Ind.)

Dakota Tallman (OT): Elyria Catholic High School (Elyria, Ohio)

Mitch Stanitzek (TE): West Catholic High School (Grand Rapids, Mich.)

Ian Eriksen (RB): Clarkston High School (Clarkston, Mich.)
