EMU’s #GivingTuesday—
On Dec. 3, Eastern Michigan University will host a one-day fundraising campaign.
According to an article from EMU’s Division of Communications, the campaign will correspond with the national #GivingTuesday movement. This national movement promotes charitable events that support nonprofit organizations.
Supporters are encouraged to make a year-end gift on Dec. 3 to assist students, faculty and programs. A #GivingTuesday event will also be held at EMU’s Student Center main food court stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The men’s basketball game will be at 7 p.m. and a check will be presented during the game with the amount of money raised throughout the day. This is also a chance for those who haven’t donated to make their gift before the midnight deadline.

United Way Campaign—
The United Way Campaign on Eastern Michigan University’s campus is still under way. The donations provided by those who wish to do so contribute to EMU organizations.
To donate, a student can go to their my.emich account, navigate to “Click here to donate” and proceed with following the steps provided. Paper donations are welcome. The deadline for this is
Friday, Dec. 6.

Conflict Management Session—
Eastern Michigan Human Resources is hosting a “Conflict Management” Lunch and Learn session on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 12-2 p.m., in room 301 of the Student Center on campus.
Anyone wishing to attend will be completing a conflict management assessment. This can help in learning different conflict management styles. Training and Development Consultant Lauren Hansbarger will be presenting.
