Physician assistant program at EMU—

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant program has met the standards to begin training pupils in the field at Eastern Michigan University.

According to the Division of Communications, the ARC-PA approved the Accreditation-Provisional for the program.

The program is set to begin in May of 2014, and EMU is just one of six accredited PA programs in Michigan, the article says.

An informational session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. in the EMU Student Center Auditorium. Registration is required and can be completed online.

Coming Out Being Out—

Students wishing to discuss issues on sexuality can join in with the group from 5-6:30 p.m. at Student Center room 204.

Queer Bathroom Monologues—

The QBM is a performance about the LGBT experiences in Canada’s public facilities. It was written by playwright Sheila Cavanagh.

The show will be held at Eastern Michigan University’s Student Center, room 310, from 7-8:30 p.m.
