All Eastern Michigan University students who have 95 or more credit hours are advised to complete a degree audit prior to graduating. This will ensure that program requirements are being met and that students are on track.
Professor and Department Head of Political Science, Arnold Fleischmann, issued an email to political science students stating that at the present, “the Registrar is handling graduation certification, so it will be a few weeks before you get audit results if applying now.”
These audits are the official word from Records and Registration about what students need in order to graduate. When going to advising sessions, students should bring audits with them.
“We do not get a copy,” Fleischmann said in the email.
Applications for audits can be found by going to emich.edu/registrar/formslibrary/forms/ugaudit.pdf.
