August 24
A subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and an outstanding warrant at 1:22 a.m. at Leforge Road and Railroad Street.
A subject was arrested on an EMU bench warrant for a failure to appear on charges of assault at 11:55 p.m. at South Huron Street.
August 25
A concession stand was reported broken into at 8:27 a.m. at the Softball field. The crime occurred between Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. and
Aug. 25 at 8 a.m.
August 26
A subject was cited for consuming alcohol in public at 6:56 p.m. at
Ballard Street and Cross Street.
August 27
Gasoline was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:09 a.m. at Structure Drive. The theft occurred between Aug. 24 at 8:30 p.m. and Aug. 26 at 4 p.m.
A subject with expired plates was arrested on a bench warrant for a failure to comply with a court order at 11:47 a.m. at Oakwood Street.
August 28
A subject with open intoxicants was found to have warrants for theft, assault and stolen property at 12:53 a.m. at Ford Hall.
Subjects had an altercation at 5:46 p.m. at Munson Apartments.
A subject was cited for consuming alcohol in public at 8:06 p.m. at North Huron Street.

August 24
A home invasion occurred during the daytime hours at the 1100 block of Lester in Ypsilanti Township. The suspect entered the home through an unlocked back door and stole a laptop and numerous pieces of jewelry.
August 25
Two suspects broke a window, forced entry and stole an unknown amount of liquor at 2:33 a.m. at the Dexter Party Store in Webster Township. The subjects were wearing dark clothing, gloves, hoodie and something covering their faces. No suspects have been identified at this time.
A subject entered a home through an unlocked sliding door and stole a cell phone and a purse containing money and credit cards at the 190 block of Savannah in Superior Township. There are no suspects at this time.
August 25
A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at 10:55 p.m. at South Harris and Share in Ypsilanti Township. The pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when he stepped in front of a minivan driving south on South Harris. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries from the collision. It is suspected that the driver of the vehicle had been drinking prior to the crash.
