Campus:

Sept. 28 – A counterfeit ten-dollar bill was passed at 11:09 a.m. in the Dining Commons.

A subject was arrested at 7 p.m. for assaulting an ex-roommate in the Village Commons.

Sept. 29 – At approximately 4 a.m., an underage female was issued a citation for being in possession of alcohol in Phelps Hall.

Money was found missing from a safe at 8 a.m. in the Student Center.

A parking lot gate arm was broken at 2 p.m. in Alexander Lot.

At about 6 p.m., a student was disorderly in class in McKenny Union.

A subject was cited for being in possession of alcohol and interfering with police at 8:09 p.m. at the Student Center. The subject was transported to the hospital.

An intoxicated subject was transported to the hospital and issued a citation at 9 p.m. on Ann Street and Huron River Drive.

Sept. 30 – At 4:09 p.m., a subject was found carrying a concealed, loaded pistol on Leforge Road and Huron River Drive.

Trespassing occurred at 6 p.m. in the Dining Commons.

Oct. 1 – At 12:10 a.m., officers made contact with loud subjects arguing with housing staff in Buell Hall.

LOCAL:

Sept. 28 – A door was shattered at Turner’s Nursery and Garden on South Wagner Road.

A Nintendo Wii game system and Dell laptop were stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Steven Drive after the suspect entered the home through the front door.

A home in the 8200 block of Grossman Road had its mailbox burned. The incident is believed to have been a juvenile prank; deputies are still looking into it.

A steel safe, Kennedy tool box filled with miscellaneous tools and a vacuum cleaner were taken from a storage unit in the 18400 block of Austin Road. The suspect gained access to the storage unit by cutting off the padlock.

A blue 2000 Dodge Caravan was taken at approximately 5:30 p.m. from the area of Holmes Road and East Michigan Avenue. The victim had left their keys in the vehicle.

Sept. 29 – A window on a garage bay door at the Victory Lane Oil Change at 3066 Washtenaw Ave. was broken.

A 1985 black Chevy pickup truck and 10-foot box trailer with tools and painting equipment were stolen from the 4000 block of South Wagner Road.

A break-in occurred in the 1200 block of Crestwood Avenue. No more information was available at the time of this posting.

A 1997 custom soft-tail motorcycle was stolen from the 2000 block of East Michigan Avenue. The motorcycle is red with black flames on the gas tank.

At about 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a complaint of someone breaking into a vending machine near the entrance of the K-Mart store at 3100 Washtenaw Ave. Upon the deputies’ arrival, the suspect fled the scene and ran toward Camelot Apartments. The deputies chased the 18-year-old male from Ypsilanti and transported him to the jail.
