Campus:
Sept. 21 – A cellular phone was taken at approximately 10 a.m. from Bowen Field House.
At 1:09 p.m. a subject was arrested for narcotic paraphernalia and a warrant on Pearl and Adams Streets.
Sept. 22- A subject was caught trespassing at 4:09 p.m. in Alexander Music Building.
A traffic stop occurred at about 7 p.m. on Ballard and Washtenaw Streets. The stop resulted in subjects being arrested for warrants for driving with a suspended license and cocaine possession.
A bicycle was stolen from near the Putnam parking meters.
At approximately 10 p.m. an unattended cell phone was stolen in the Student Center.
A suspect left the scene after backing into another vehicle without stopping to identify his or herself at 11 p.m. in North Lot.
Sept. 23 – A door was found with writing on it at 12:09 a.m. in Wise Hall.
Underage suspects were cited for possession of alcohol at 2:09 a.m. in Walton Hall.
At 11 p.m. a disorderly subject was reported outside of the Convocation Center. The subject was underage and intoxicated.
Sept. 24 – A subject was arrested at 4 p.m. for being in possession of a stolen bike.
At 8:09 p.m. a subject was arrested for a bench warrant for marijuana possession.
Local:
Sept. 20 – A GPS was stolen from a parked car in the 2000 block of Melbourne Drive.
A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked vehicle while it was parked in the Park and Ride lot near Miller Road and M-14.
A catalytic converter was stolen from the 2100 block of Golfside Road.
Three hunting rifles, four hunting shotguns and three hunting muzzle loaders were taken from a storage barn in the 7000 block of North Territorial Road in Webster Township. No suspect information is available at this time.
Copper piping was taken from the basement of a vacant rental property in the 1000 block of East Clark Road.
Sept. 21 – Deputies responded to the 1700 block of Emerson Avenue after a victim reported an attempted home invasion. The victim reported a family member woke to the sound of a ground floor window screen being cut and an unknown suspect attempting to climb through the screen to enter the home.
The family member yelled and the suspect fled the area. Police K-9 units were brought to assist in the investigation, but no subject has been found. No suspect description was available.
Two sewer grates were stolen from the area of Holmes Road and Allen Street.
A four-door, 2010 black Dodge Journey sport edition, Samsung blue ray/DVD player and Toshiba 46-inch flat screen television were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Southlawn Street. The break-in occurred during the night while the victim was home. The victim woke in the morning and discovered their car keys, the car and other items were gone and a window screen had been cut. No suspect information is yet available.
A burglary occurred in the 400 block of Dexter-Pinckney Road. The stolen property included a Sony DVD/surround sound system, a Dell laptop, a Craftsman circular saw and socket set, a Dewalt corded drill and cordless drill, circular saw and reciprocating saw, a Beretta 40 caliber handgun, a Golden Eagle compound bow and a Matthews Monster compound bow.
A Smith and Wesson .357 revolver and an unknown quantity of cash were taken from a home in the 1400 block of Andrew Street. Deputies are attempting to determine how the suspect entered the home.
Sept. 22 – A home invasion occurred in the 100 block of Russell Court. The residence was entered after a ground floor window screen was removed. The only item reported stolen was a Detroit Tigers baseball cap.
A vacant home was broken into in the 6000 block of Meadowlark Lane. The point of entry was a basement level window and no property has been reported stolen.
A home in the 1400 block of Andrew Street was broken into. The suspect entered the home through an unlocked rear door. No property was reported stolen.
A Sanyo 42-inch flat screen television, JVC camcorder and two gold rings were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Washtenaw Avenue.
Deputies are investigating a home invasion in the 300 block of East Clark Road. No further information was available at the time of this posting.
An apartment in the 2700 block of International Drive received damage to its front door. It is believed that the damage occurred during an attempted break-in.
