Campus:
Sept. 16 – At 2:09 a.m., a suspect was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol on Adams and West Cross Streets.
An intoxicated minor student was cited for possession of alcohol at 4:09 a.m. in Buell Hall. The student was then transported to the hospital.
At around 8 p.m., a drunk minor was found in the parking lot outside of the Convocation Center unable to stand.
A male with an Ann Arbor RNC warrant was found in possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:09 p.m. on Ballard and West Cross Streets.
Sept. 17 – An Ipad was taken from an unattended backpack at approximately 3 p.m. in Halle Library.
Minor students were found in possession of alcohol at 11 p.m. in Walton Hall.
Sept. 18 – A subject was cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at 11:09 p.m. in North lot.
Sept. 19 – At approximately 2 p.m., a subject was found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia in Hill Hall.
Sept. 20 – Several minor subjects were cited for possession of alcohol at 12:09 a.m. in Walton Hall.
A cell phone was stolen at approximately 4 p.m. in Wise Hall.
Textbooks were stolen from an unattended backpack at 4:09 p.m. in the Student Center.
Local:
Sept. 14 – At approximately 12:00 p.m. deputies responded to a residence in the 1500 block of North Prospect Road. After searching the residence and nearby property, they did not find the suspect. Entry was gained to the home through a screen that had been cut.
A 2004 black Versa trailer was stolen from behind a shopping complex in the 1800 block of Whittaker Road.
A daytime burglary occurred in the 200 block of Kirk Street. The suspect entered the home through a ground floor window and stole multiple items including a Phillips 22-inch LCD TV and a Dell laptop computer.
Sept. 15 – A Sony Playstation 3 was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Russell Court. Entry was gained through a ground floor window.
A suspect gained entry into a home in the 1300 block of East Forest Avenue through a back door. Among the property stolen was a 12-gauge shotgun.
One green Novara Jaunt bicycle was stolen from a residential garage in the 9000 block of East Forest Avenue.
A burglary occurred in the 5000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive. No further details were available at the time of this posting.
Sept. 17 – A 52-inch Panasonic flat screen television and an X-box game console were taken from a residence in the 500 block of Woburn Drive. The victim reported the suspect broke into the home through the rear door.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., deputies responded to a residential burglary alarm after a suspect broke the glass of a rear door of a home in the 8000 block of Warwick Drive.
Multiple items including computer speakers, an X-box game system and an unknown quantity of cash were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Russell Street.
Deputies responded to the 2700 block of International Drive after a break in was reported. No property was stolen. The investigation remains open.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to an attempted robbery. The victim and his friend had been walking along Ecorse Road near Pinewood street when they were approached by the suspect, described as a tall, African American male approximately 23-years-old with a thin build who was wearing a red T-shirt and gray pants. The suspect demanded money from the victim then proceeded to punch the victim in the head. Bystanders intervened and the suspect ran from the scene leaving the victim behind with minor injuries.
A 23-year-old female was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana at about 7:45 p.m. in the area of Dawn and Panama Avenues.
Sept. 18 – Victory Lane Oil Change on Washtenaw Avenue reported a break in after an employee discovered a broken window. The complainant reported the cash drawer, with an unknown quantity of money, was stolen. The case remains open.
A teal 1995 Sea Doo jet ski was taken from the shore near the Halfmoon Lake boat launch.
A significant amount of fencing was damaged in the 9000 block of Currie Road after a suspect drove through the victim’s property. No suspect or suspect vehicle descriptions were available.
A suspicious fire occurred at approximately 4 p.m. in the 10000 block of Joy Road. This was not the first time this abandoned home has been set ablaze under suspicious circumstances.
Sept. 19 – A Garmin GPS system was taken from a vehicle in the 300 blcok of Village Green Boulevard.
A vehicle that was parked in the 1500 block of Harvest Lane had its tires slashed, the doors damaged and sugar put into the gas tank. Deputies have yet to identify a suspect.
Sometime during the daytime hours, a home in the 500 block of Woodlawn Street was invaded and an unknown quantity of cash was taken.
A men’s wallet and a GPS system were taken from a parked car in the 4000 block of Polo Fields Drive.
A home in the 400 block of Villa Drive was broken into. The back door had been forced open and several items, including a flat screen television, were taken.
