At 9:37 a.m. Saturday morning after Metro Dispatch received a 911 call, a TCF bank located on Hewitt and Packard in Ypsilanti Township was robbed.
Deputies arrived on the scene and determined two suspects entered the bank wearing all black with hooded sweatshirts and masks covering their faces.
The suspects, armed with handguns, jumped the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects left and fled the scene in a white Dodge Caravan. The getaway vehicle was recovered by deputies, according to a media release. The Caravan was found in the Stadium Meadows apartment complex, which is down the street from the bank. Upon investigation, deputies discovered the vehicle had been stolen out of Melvindale in Wayne County.
