The Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team’s season isn’t over yet.
The Eagles take on the University of Michigan in a St. Patrick’s Day matchup in the Women’s National Invitation tonight at 7.
The game will be hosted by the Eagles, but it will not be free to students like a typical EMU home game.
Student and children’s tickets are $4, and adult tickets are $8.
The Wolverines (17-12, 10-6 Big Ten) finished their season fifth in the Big Ten and should bring an attendance boost to the Convocation Center; The team’s home arenas are just seven miles apart.
The Eagles and Wolverines have two common opponents on the season, Ohio State and University of Detroit Mercy.
Michigan won both its games over Ohio State (64-51, 69-66) and lost its game with UDM, 67-48.
The Eagles lost their matchup with Ohio State, 74-62 and lost to UDM 62-60.
Veronica Hicks will be a tough test for the Eagles, she averages 5.5 rebounds per-game, and 11.3 points.
The Eagles lost in the Mid-American Conference championship game to Bowling Green State University on Saturday.
