Campus: — A car was stolen between 8 p.m. Friday and 6:40 p.m. Sunday, from the Buell Parking meters.

At 10:10 p.m. Sunday, larceny occurred at the Dining Commons, where a person took an I.D. card from a student.

Between 12:30 and 3:57 p.m. Monday, a backpack was stolen from a vehicle in the Rynearson parking lot. The bag was later recovered and there is no suspect in the case.

At 7:06 p.m. Monday, a man refused to leave the women’s locker room in the Olds-Robb.

Monday, a subject was issued a trespass notice for panhandling in the McKenny Lot at 5:10 p.m.

A wallet was stolen from an unattended backpack in Olds-Robb Tuesday at 3:32 p.m.

Tuesday, a backpack was stolen from King Hall at 2:30 p.m.

A subject was arrested on Emmet Street near Adams Street for possessing a stolen vehicle and giving a false name to avoid arrest on warrants at 9:30 p.m.

Local: — Shots were fired during a home invasion in the 700 block of Calder Avenue on Sunday. The suspects forced open the front door. The first suspect, described as a light skinned black male, medium height and wearing a gray jacket, came into the home and ordered the residence to the ground. He then grabbed the female resident and dragged her by the hair to the door and called in his accomplice. The second suspect, light skinned black male who was heavy set and wearing a black jacket, began shooting at the male resident as he was helping several children escape through a rear window. No one was hit by the gunshots.

A 51-year-old woman was arrested and transported to the County Jail on Sunday. The suspect had outstanding warrants ranging from noise charges to retail fraud. Deputies picked up the suspect after responding to a disorderly complaint in the 100 block of South Hewitt Road.

Monday, deputies responded to a larceny from automobile complaint in the 700 block of Woodcreek Court. A suspect smashed out the driver’s side window to gain entry into the car around 10 a.m. A GPS system and camera were taken.

A burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Carol Ann Avenue Monday. A suspect forced open a back door to gain entry at 2:25 p.m. and a television, video game system and miscellaneous video game system accessories were taken.

Deputies responded to a complaint of a vehicle parked in the fire lane in the 2000 block of Whittaker Road Monday. It was determined that the subject driving the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for being in possession of a controlled substance. The subject was arrested and turned over to the Ypsilanti Police Department.
