A 33-year-old resident of Detroit has been charged in connection with a felonious assault that occurred Jan. 13 in the 2000 block of Grove Road.
David Anthony Cameron was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Cameron was arraigned Jan. 28, after the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office authorized a one-count felony warrant.
A preliminary exam has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Feb. 15, and Cameron was given a $7,500 cash surety bond.
The felonious assault occurred when a suspect entered an office building and pointed a handgun at a woman. The suspect then told the victim to “leave my people alone” and shoved the victim into a wall and pulled her hair. The subject then pushed the victim to the floor and ran out of the building. The victim suffered injuries to her face and head area.
