Women’s Soccer
EMU (7-5-3, 4-0-2 MAC) has won six matches in a row, after beating Buffalo (1-12-1) on Sunday.
Monique Budani posted her fifth shutout of the year and 21st of her career. Eagles scoring leader Paige Sheridan picked-up her sixth goal of the year.
Next up on the Eagles’ schedule is Northern Illinois on Friday, Oct. 1 at home.
Women’s Cross Country
EMU women’s cross country team took fourth place on Friday, Oct. 8 at the 5,000 meter Michigan Intercollegiate at Oakland University.
The Eagles placed two runners in the top 10. One of them, Courtney Calka, took first overall with a time of 17 minutes, 16 seconds. Natalie Webb finished with her best time (18:36) this season at ninth.
Men’s Cross Country
Men’s cross country was also at the Michigan Invitational, and despite not sending their 10 best runners, the Eagles were able to place second. EMU placed three in the top 10, including Junior Justin Huey, who finished fourth with a time of 27: 25.3
Women’s Golf
The Eagles finished sixth at the Heather Farr Memorial tour at the Colorado National Golf Club last weekend, scoring a 932. Darby Peters and Robyn Scott tied for sixth scoring a 226 for the weekend.
