Sept.24 —A subject was found intoxicated near Buell Hall’s parking meters and was transported by the Huron Valley Ambulance to the hospital at 2:35 a.m.

An underage subject was cited for minor in possession in Best Hall at 12:59 a.m.

Sept. 25 —A subject was arrested and lodged after police discovered he was operating a vehicle while intoxicated on N. Hamilton Street near Michigan Ave. at 11:45 p.m.

A burglary of a garage and a larceny from an automobile took place in the 5000 block of Michael Dr. Deputies discovered the suspect walked into a garage through an open garage door around 9 a.m. The suspect took property and also entered an unlocked vehicle in the garage and took additional property. A gas can was taken from the garage and miscellaneous change was taken from the vehicle.

A laptop computer was taken from a house in the 600 block of Oswego Street.
Deputies assigned to the area responded to the home invasion complaint. The deputies discovered the suspect had kicked open the rear door to gain entry around 1:30 p.m. An occupant of the residence was inside sleeping at time of the incident but did not hear anything.

Deputies arrived at a house in the 1800 block of Eileen Street for a burglary complaint. The suspect had pried off a screen and crawled through a window to gain entry at 4 p.m. A television set, two Xbox game systems, a laptop computer and miscellaneous DVDs were taken.

Sept. 26 —In Walton Hall, a subject was found intoxicated in a room and was cited for minor in possession at 2:23 a.m.

Subjects playing loud music in Phelps Hall were cited for disturbing the peace at 12:06 a.m.

In the 2000 block of Glory Lane, a burglary took place after a suspect opened an unlocked door to gain entry at 3 p.m. Miscellaneous jewelry was taken.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked automobile in the 2000 block of George Street around 8:45 p.m.

Deputies came into contact with a suspicious subject on Holmes Road near Midway Street and discovered she was wanted on several warrants including furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Sept. 27 —A visitors’ concessions stand was burglarized in Rynearson Stadium around 10 a.m.

A student entered the Rec/IM building without permission and became irate when confronted at 5:56 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 900 block of E. Michigan Avenue for a burglary complaint. A suspect had removed an air conditioner unit from a window and crawled inside the now open window to gain entry at 12:05 a.m. An unknown number of gold necklaces and gold bracelets were taken.

Four sets of tires and rims and a hedge trimmer were stolen from a shed in the 2000 block of Washtenaw Avenue. The suspect had forced open the shed door to gain entry at 11 a.m.

Deputies patrolling the 1000 block of S. Harris Road discovered a subject was wanted on three warrants including open intoxicants and parole absconder. He was arrested and turned over to the county jail.
