The Downtown Development Authority’s Executive Committee last Tuesday discovered a budget shortfall that put revenues nearly $50,000 under expenses and noticed money from the DDA’s reserves were used to balance the budget last year.
The Executive Committee met to revise the DDA’s staff’s draft of the 2010-2011 budget. The committee is a temporary one that was formed to prepare the budget for presentation before city council this month.
