The Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center will host its second mass H1N1 vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has widened the scope of those eligible for the shot. Those priority groups for the vaccine include:
-Pregnant women
-Household and caregiver contacts of infants younger than 6 months of age
-Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient care
-Individuals from 6 months though 24 years of age
-Individuals 25 through 64 years with medical conditions that put them at a higher risk of influenza-related complications
Starting at 9 a.m., eligible individuals will begin receiving wristbands, which secure a time slot and a dose of the vaccine. Wristbands will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis until no doses of the vaccine remain. People are urged to dress for the weather.
