A burglary occurred in Phelps Hall on Tuesday between 4:25-7 a.m., resulting in the theft of two laptops, two iPods and a cell phone.
One of the residents of the room awoke to see a male individual in his room wearing a white T-shirt but believed it was his roommate. Later, the resident found several items stolen.
There was no forced entry into the room, and authorities suspect the room was left unlocked.
“We’re looking at continuing the follow-up and see where it leads us,” Lieutenant Robert Heighes of Eastern Michigan University’s Police Department said.
EMU Police have no further leads at this time.
