An arson incident occurred between 4 and 10 p.m. in Phelps Hall. Staff reported paper attached to a residence hall room door was found burned. The arson was reported at 1:03 p.m. the following day. Police have no investigative leads.
A Rec-IM patron reported that between 6 and 8:18 p.m. his or her wallet was stolen. The patron returned to the basketball bleachers to find the wallet, which was left in a pants pocket, missing. The alleged theft was reported at 9:07 a.m. the following day. Police have no investigative leads.

An alleged domestic violence incident occurred at 11:34 p.m. at Brown Apartments. A girlfriend and boyfriend were reportedly involved in a verbal argument when the boyfriend allegedly slapped his girlfriend in the face. The boyfriend was transported and lodged at the Washtenaw County Jail. A warrant was to be sought.

An alleged hangtag theft occurred between Oct. 12 at 12:01 a.m. and Oct. 19 at 4:40 p.m. The hangtag was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in Green Lot One. An officer observed pry marks on the vehicle. The owner said the vehicle was locked. Police have no investigative leads.

Police received a report of a domestic violence incident at 2:11 a.m. in Best Hall. The suspect was allegedly having an argument with the victim when the suspect would not allow the victim to leave. The suspect reportedly pulled on the victim’s hooded sweatshirt, causing scratches to the victim’s neck. The case is open pending contact with the suspect.
