Rainbow Variety Show The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center is holding an event, in conjunction with OUTtober, called the Rainbow Variety Show. Students will show talents from original songs, dance and poetry. Ypsilanti-based queen and Boylesque creator Chanel Hunter will be hosting this free event in the Student Center auditorium from 8 to 9:30 Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Family Fun Night: Open Gym with Lady Eagles Basketball The EMU Eagles Women’s Basketball team will be shooting hoops and running drills with patrons, along with giving out free fan gear and autographs. The event will be held at the Autism Collaborative Center from 6 to 7:30 Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the Fletcher Building, room 121. Fun for the whole family is advertised and the night is inclusive for people of all ability levels.

Freshman Open House for Criminal Justice and Criminology All freshman Criminology or Criminal Justice majors are encouraged to attend the open house for fun, festivities and pizza. This is a Learning Beyond the Classroom credit, and will be held in Pray Harrold, in room 306, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23.

Halloween Orchestra Concert Open to all ages, the EMU Symphony Orchestra will hold their annual concert, and guests are encouraged to wear their costumes to Pease Auditorium for the 7:30 show on Friday, Oct. 24. Admission prices are $10 for Adults, $8 for students or seniors and $6 for youth under 12.
